Parenting Plans.

For those who agree without the involvement of the court, a Parenting Plan can suit many parents when going their separate ways. A parenting plan sets out parenting arrangements for children, but is not legally-enforcable in the same way as a Parenting Order, which is made by the Court.

Parenting Orders.

In the event the parties are unable to resolve their dispute, the mediator/Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner will issue them with a s60I Certificate. This certificate enables the parties to file proceedings in either the Federal Circuit Court of Australia or Family Court of Australia in relation to children’s issues.

Financial Agreements.

Such agreements can be entered in to by parties wishing to provide over and above any Child Support Assessment amount. A Binding Child Support Agreement will allow parties the flexibility as to type of child support to be paid, the amount, and the length of time it is to be paid (among other things).
